New in: Candleholders

Happiness is finding two cool on trend candle holders on sale! I was walking through Føtex in Vesterbrogade on Friday looking for frames when I spotted these two in a sale bin. They were only 5kr each, that’s only 67c, major bargain. I am drawn to cement pieces so I love this little addition. I also picked up a thick candle in Føtex to go with it. The little wooden house holder is super cute too. There is similar design pieces available that cost 10 times the price of this one. I like to use wooden pieces around our apartment to break up all our white and black decor. Both pieces are from a brand called Windsor.

I hope your all having a great week, until next time!

Today I want to share a super cool upcycle project I made a few months ago. Myself and Ross have a kingsize platform bed and I always found it difficult to find the perfect height table to go next to my side of the bed. This electrical cable spool once revamped worked a treat.  I also share my decor styling tips too.

The Resurrection

im back

Long time no blogging! Yes my friends I took a long break from my little corner of the internet to first figure out what direction I wanted my content to go but I also needed to redesign the website and as you can see I rebranded. Check out my cool new Youtube banner too! With a promotion in work last year it all just went on the long finger and I was just building up ideas and content but waiting until I had the blog redesign before doing that. Procrastination is an awful thing, so now the site is redone I’m all out of excuses. Hence why I picked up this cute notebook from Juniqe to remind myself of that (You can buy it here.)

So what changes have I made? Well you can still expect to see my DIY and upcycling videos and my fashion / style content but also more thrifty purchases and interior design inspiration. I have been back living in Copenhagen for almost 2.5 yrs! What! How did that happen? and in that time we have lived in this gorgeous city apartment. This will mark the longest time Ross and I have lived in one place in almost 10yrs!! We had itchy feet for quiet a while! So I have become interior obsessed and nesting any chance I get. There has been  alot of painting and framing going on, so I want to share that with you guys. Because i for one love to read and watch ‘way too many’ videos on this topic. I find it so interesting and draw so much inspiration from interior blogs, but I want to do it with a thrifty and upcycle edge, because thats how I roll. So expect to see room makeover videos in the pipeline. I really hope you follow along to see what I’ve been up to.

P.S. I am no longer posting Dermatitis videos here on Style Resurrection you can follow on my new channel Skin Deep.

Have a super weekend,

Until next time!
